1. Don't be careless in the early preparations

Material acceptance: Don't rush to sign for the arrival of the goods. Check whether the board has bumps and whether the edge sealing is flat. Try the feel of the hardware accessories (hinges, slides). Poor quality switch doors will "squeak".

Wall leveling: The wall of the old house is crooked? You must use a level before installation! Otherwise, the cabinet will be "crooked" when installed, and the drawer may not be opened.

2. Pay close attention to these details at the installation site

Countertop joints: The most feared joints of quartz countertops are "black lines". The master is required to use glue of the same color. After polishing, it should feel smooth. Pour a cup of water to test whether there is leakage.

Cabinet fixing: Don't believe the nonsense of "just a few screws"! The load-bearing cabinet must be fixed to the solid wall with expansion bolts, so that it will be stable when chopping ribs later.

Water and electricity reservation: Did you find that the socket was blocked after installation? Confirm the location of the socket, water purifier, and small kitchen treasure with the electrician in advance. It is recommended to leave 2-3 spare sockets.

3. Key inspections during acceptance

Door panel alignment: After all cabinet doors are closed tightly, the gap should be uniform (generally about 3mm), and the doors should not "fight" with each other.

Drawer smoothness: When the dishes are filled and pulled back and forth, the inferior slide rails will get stuck, and the good slide rails are buffered and return to their positions with a light push.

Odor investigation: Does the new cabinet have a pungent smell? It may be that the formaldehyde content of the inferior board exceeds the standard. Request a replacement or ventilation on the spot.

4. Tips for later maintenance

Don't cut bones on the countertop, use a chopping board to make it last longer

Put a moisture-proof mat under the sink, which can save lives in the rainy season in the south

Add some lubricating oil to the door hinge every six months to keep it smooth
